Three generations.One edge.
In 1965, the band saw blades that cut India's timber came from abroad. Our family set out to make them here — and never stopped building. Sixty years, three generations and a factory full of home-grown machines later, we're still engineering the edge India cuts with.

generations of R&D
1965
India's first home-grown band saw blade
Our grandfather watched India's sawmills run on imported blades and asked a simple question: why not make them here? Tooth by tooth, set by set, he built India's first indigenous band saw blades for wood — and they held their edge. A family trade was born, and with it a habit that has never left us: if India needs it, we make it here.
The coin years
Steel for the nation's coins
Precision like that gets noticed. The Government of India trusted the workshop with metal blanks for the nation's coins — struck at the mint and passed through millions of Indian hands. Somewhere in an old piggy bank, there's still a little of our work.
The next generation
No machine for it? Build one.
Then came stainless steel — cleaner, tougher and famously hard to work. The machines to shape it simply weren't made in India, so our grandfather and father built their own. Years of R&D, prototype after prototype, gave the family a line of indigenous machines designed around this new steel. Each one taught us something; every blade came out better.
2004
A new factory for stainless steel blades
In 2004 we opened a new factory in Hyderabad, built from the ground up for stainless steel blades. All those years of R&D went into its machines — better, faster and automated, with laser hardening for edges that stay sharp far longer and butt welding for seamless, stronger bands. Craft that once took a master's hands all day now runs with machine precision, checked by people who have known steel all their lives.
Today
India's only stainless steel machinery band blades
Today we make India's only stainless steel machinery band blades — laser-hardened, butt-welded and built to run shift after shift in bakeries, food plants and factories. Around them: a wide range of slicer blades, band knives and kitchen knives, and our own indigenous India's Cake Slicer — the machine that gives every baker, at home or in a bakery, perfectly even cake layers every single time.
From India's first band saw blade to India's only stainless steel machinery band blades — every edge we ship carries sixty years of R&D. Thank you for being part of the story.
